Hi there. My mother was Hazel Bertha Sampson Harris, her parents were Thomas Sampson and Emma Angela Augustine. My grandparents had fifteen children, who lived in Mansura and the youngest, Auntie Geet (Marguerite) Sampson Hunter, passed away in 2020. My grandfather Thomas had eight more Sampson children, who lived in Alexandria. Auntie Geet was the last of 23 Sampson children.

Looking forward to the reunion as well as meeting new family members and seeing those that I do know.

God willing, my Husband, Hank and I are planning to attend the 2016 family reunion. We are looking forward to it.  I am Naomi Guillory daughter of Prudent H. Guillory.  We live in California.

Hi Family!  I am Victoria(Vickie) Gibson-Bullard-Batiste, 4th daughter to Steve and Jeanette Batiste.  My parents and I along with other family members will also be attending the reunion this year!  My dad Steve and my mom Jeanette are so very excited, and I too am thrilled to be a part of the festivities and to be there sharing this time with them.  We are all looking forward to seeing the famiiar faces we know and look forward to meeting and seeing the new faces of our family!  Such a blessing... I am excited about the family reunion. I am the second daughter of Fannie Clarice Batiste-Coleman and Althread Coleman. I am the widow to Franklin Windom (31 years) and I have one son (Shad Manuel) and we reside in Lake Elsinore, CA.

Hello Family, My name is Rose Mary Sampson Benjamin. I am the fifth child of eleven children born to Catherine "Carrie" Jean-Baptiste and Daniel Sampson.  I am married to Felix Benjamin and we have two wonderful grown daughters, Daune and Danika Benjamin. My grandparents are "Charles" and Marie Jacobs Jr. and my great grandparents are Aly Sampson and Joseph Jean-Baptiste Sr. We started the Jean-Baptiste family gathering in 2007 with my sister, Elizabeth Dobison, cousin Thelma Jacobs Prater, and brother Andrew Sampson.  Then, in 2009, we realized our first Jean-Baptiste family reunion here in Avoyelles Parish. I regret that I will not be able to attend the 2016 BLS reunion, but hope you all will have great time celebrating our family hertiage.  I send nothing but love to all my family and look forward to seeing all of you at our next Jean-Baptiste family reunion.

Bon jour family!  Comment ca va?  This is  Gwen Batiste Patrick, second daughter of Steve and Jeanette Batiste.  My husband, Pastor Charles and I live in Newberry Springs, California, not far from the Arizona border!   We have 5 adult children and 5 grandchildren.  We look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion!  Love to all!

I am Rosa Veronica Batiste Millang, aka, Von; the granddaughter of  Clabert Batiste, Sr and Rosa Lavalais Batiste and  the oldest child  of Willie Narcise Batiste, aka, Jack, and Lucille Brooks Batiste, aka Boot.  I grew up in Mansura, LA, moved to Los Angeles, in 1973. I’ve been married to  Steve Millang for 37 years,  have lived in Acton, CA (L A County)  for 25 years. We have one daughter, Lorisa  Christian, (husband Cameron Christian) who lives in Los Angeles, CA. Steve and I really looking forward to attending this year's reunion, and seeing all of our wonderful relatives.
